Pediatrics
Pediatrics involves the development, care, and treatment of children from birth through adolescence. This encompasses a broad spectrum of health services ranging from preventative health care, well baby exams, immunizations, and school physicals.
We routinely immunize children against such infectious diseases as influenza, meningitis, measles, mumps, and chicken pox. Specialized areas of pediatrics include immunology, adolescent health, cardiology, emergency medicine, surgery and diseases of special organs and systems.
